Obituary of Donald C. LaCourse

Donald C.LaCourse, 63, of Deep River died unexpectedly at his home on August 16, 2013. Don will be lovingly missed by Clare(Gannon) LaCourse, his wife of 40 years, his sons Adam of Deep River & Ryan of Boston; his mother, Claire LaCourse of Groton and his 4 sisters: Barbara Turano (Charles) of Bradenton, FL; Renee Marquand & Janis Krotsis (John) of Groton; & Denise Banas (Henry) of Gales Ferry. Don's many nieces & nephews, extended family of in-laws, & Sgt Pepper will miss him. Don was predeceased by his sons David & Vincent LaCourse and his father Camille LaCourse. Don graduated from University of CT & taught at Fitch High School in Groton for 37 years. A talented artist, he operated DC LaCourse Photography Studio. Favorite activities included: traveling with his family, sharing his vast music collection, & riding his Harley. Don was a proud member of the DRFD for 10 years –Badge #29. Visitation will be held at Robinson Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St. Centerbrook on Tuesday from6-8pm. Mass of Christain Burial will be Wednesday at St. Joseph's Church, Middlesex Ave. Chester at 10:30am. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. To share a memory of Don please visit rwwfh.com
