I knew Mrs Bianca (and Mr. Bianca) when I was a kid living in the Riverview Gardens, Yonkers, NY. I grew up with Frankie and Bobby. I knew Carol and I remember Michael as a baby. She was a really nice lady. I have only good memories of her (and Mr Bianca - who as I recall - served in Patton's 3rd Army during WWII).

I only had the pleasure of getting to know Mary for a brief time this summer but I was still deeply saddened to read of her passing in the local paper. She was an extremely kind and caring woman and always made me laugh when I showed up on her doorstep to "torture" her. She emanated warmth and compassion that was reciprocated by her family. I am sorry for your loss and I will miss her as well.

Dear Mom,
I waited all day to find the right words to say to you. Other than "Happy Birthday". There are no words to describe how all of us feel.
You are the staple of this family. We miss you already. It has only been a short period of time. I have already picked up the phone countless times to call you for advice or just to bounce an idea off you and realize I can't call you any more.
You were always there, just a phone call away.
We had you for 87 years and you showed us the true meaning of giving, sharing and most of all what unconditional love is. You had a heart of gold and left an impression on everyone you met.
I know you are now in Heaven with my Mom. Holding her hand and guiding her along the way as you always did. Your compassion was endless..
I want you to know you were another Mother to me and you will always be with us in spirit.
"Happy Birthday" Mom, Rest in Peace. We love you so much

Mary was a wonderful neighbor! She always asked after my boys, and even came to hear Lev read from his book. She was always cheerful and upbeat and we liked her immensely. We will miss her, and we send our heartfelt condolences. Hila and Saul

We feel an incredible void with the loss of Aunt Mary (as we know and love her). Kathy and I along with our kids will always remember her as a wonderful, kind and loving person who was a true and genuine friend to my mother Dee Dowe. In a way, they were more like sisters who knew one another's closest thoughts and shared so many experiences. Kathy and I last saw Aunt Mary towards the end of October when passing through Chester, Connecticut on our way back to Virginia after visiting Canada. We spent the night with my mom and visited Aunt Mary the next morning in her wonderful house overlooking the lake there in Chester. Like always she was so welcoming and full of life and so funny. She served us coffee and pastries that beautiful sunny morning as we admired the beautiful view over the lake with the leaves already fallen. Aunt Mary urged us to return in the spring to go swimming and talked about how enjoyable it is to swim there. She then prodded my mom that they should restart their swimming exercise classes. I remember too how happy she was that her granddaughter was visiting later that week with friends and they'd be sleeping over. She proudly showed us all around her home while reflecting how her husband built it and then winterized before dying so young. Anyone could tell the deep love she still felt for her husband even though he'd passed away too young and so many years before. Our heart goes out to all those who loved Mary Frances Bianca too, especially her two sons and daughter and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she talked about all the time. It's so hard to think she's gone from this earth while still so alive in our hearts and minds. I kniow she's receiving quite a welcome in heaven rejoining her husband and so many others who's lives she enriched in her own lifetime (my grandma O'Brien, who she took such great care of, was surely one of the first ones to hug and greet her). Please know our thoughts and prayers go out to the Bianca family, we feel so fortunate that Aunt Mary touched our lives. She was truly a special person and we will always cherish her friendship and having her as part of our lives.

Our grandmother was a phenomenal woman and she touched the lives of everyone she knew. She was a selfless woman who loved with all her heart. It was a privilege and an honor to call her our grandmother. Love and kisses to heaven. xoxo

I was the Home Health Aide Coordinator when Mary came into the Visiting Nurses to apply for a job. She immediately won me over and soon was the favorite of so many patients. Even after I left the Visiting Nurses, Mary and I stayed in touch by phone and meeting every so often to share a pizza and talk and laugh. To be considered a friend of Mary's was to be truly blessed. I will never forget her. My sympathy to the entire family on her passing. I am sure she has already put smiles on every face behind those Pearly Gates. Sincerely, Sandy Planeta

Dear Michael and Siblings,
I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. Everyone loved Mary! She always had a smile on her face and nice things to say. Its funny about the sauce, because I can remember seeing her standing in your kitchen with the BIG pot and how good it smelled! I know you all must have many wonderful memories of your own! Hold these memories alive in your heart! It is amazing how those memories allow you to still 'see' and 'hear' her! I know this is a difficult time for you all, as we experienced my Dad's passing just 1 year ago last November. Though my belief that they are now in a beautiful paradise and are peacefully at Home with God consoles me, and I pray for consolation for all of you as well. I will always think of your Mom with her beautiful smile, and still smiling now! God bless you and your families... The Haack Family
