Obituary of Ida B. Mitchell

Ida B. Mitchell, 93, of Deep River passed away peacefully at home on December 13, 2013 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Robert D. Mitchell Jr. Ida was a proud Marine veteran serving in WWII. She was a voracious reader and will be remembered as being "The Captain of her own ship". She is survived by her sons, James T. Flynn(Diane) of Philadelphia, PA., Robert D. Mitchell III(Anna) of Norfolk, VA., her daughter Susan J. Murray(Mike) of Ivoryton, CT., five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sister Henrietta Kendall. Funeral services will be held on December 19th at 1PM at the Gracelawn Memorial Park Cemetery chapel in New Castle, Delaware.
