Obituary of Alys Stoll Cuneo

Alys Stoll Cuneo, 98, who had lived most of her life in Chester, CT, passed away on October 20, 2014. She was born in Chester in 1916, to the late William J. and Frieda M. Stoll. She was a 1934 graduate of the Chester High School, and a 1938 graduate of New Britain State Teacher's College (now Central Connecticut). She taught at Chester Elementary School, retiring in 1978. She was the wife of the late Anthony L. Cuneo. She leaves her children: Alan F. Cuneo and his wife Ginny of Chester, CT., Lynn Weymer and her husband Gary of New Hampshire, and Lee A. Cuneo and his wife Catherine of South Carolina, her grandchildren: Hillary Weymer Gaynor and her husband Jamie, and Chris and Joe Cuneo. She also leaves her precious great-granddaughters; Abigail, and Mollie Gaynor, and her nephew William Murphy and his wife Mary Ann. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on November 1, 2014 at 11:00AM, at Saint Joseph's Church, 48 Middlesex Avenue in Chester. Her burial will follow in Saint Joseph's Cemetery.
