Obituary of Teresa A. LaMark
Teresa A. LaMark, age 72, of Deep River, passed away on April 26, 2018 at Middlesex Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pittston, Pennsylvania on July 2, 1945, the daughter of the late Anthony LaMark and Eileen (Hogan) LaMark. She leaves behind her daughter Denise (Apgar) Doolittle and her husband Dwight of Deep River, her son James Apgar also of Deep River, his partner Alexandra Hatch of East Haddam, and her beloved granddaughters Mollie and Kaitlin Apgar also of East Haddam. She was predeceased by her former husband and close friend Richard Apgar. Teresa was a graduate of Valley Regional High School in Deep River and lived her entire adult life in the Connecticut River Valley where she had friends who are too numerous to count and a large extended family whom she treasured and was devoted to. Teresa was employed by R. R. Donnelly and Sons in Old Saybrook as a mail clerk. She was also the proud proprietor of the GrandStand Café in Old Saybrook. Lastly, Teresa was employed by L.G. Defelice & Son, Inc., General Contractors of North Haven. Teresa was a member of the United Scandinavian Society of Deep River and was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Chester. Visitation will be held at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 48 Middlesex Turnpike in Chester. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery will be private.
