I had the pleasure of working with Gordon for almost 20 years. Beginning at New Britain General Hospital and later when I was Manager of Patient Accounts at Hartford Medical Lab. I thought we were a great team working on developing his software to accommodate the lab business. It was fun, innovating and satisfying, because Gordon would approach every new project that way. He supported me in my career and helped me to succeed. I loved to hear of his adventures with his family, sailing, skiing and scuba diving. We shared June 10 as our birthday and would try to meet for lunch or just a short hello throughout the years.
My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
