So sorry to hear of Mr. Fielding’s passing. He was a great teacher and a funny guy. He’d always play “Tiny Bubbles” in the classroom and was known to never leave a penny on the ground. He’d tell us about the regular trips to the bank to deposit his findings. Rest In Peace, Mr. Fielding.

I swear he was just in my thoughts not long ago. He is one of the teachers at Bacon that I will never forget. If not for him, I may not have graduated. He always put a smile on my face and was one of the few rooting for me at graduation. John will be missed. Sending much love to the rest of the friends, family, and all those greatly impacted by this man. Blessings.

I had the privilege of attending the LTC’s US History Class as a Junior. He started up the Vietnam Veterans Symposium that year and because of that man I was inspired to serve in the military. 15 years now I have been serving and I always wished I could have gone back to see him again and told him I finally know what he meant about the blue haired ladies in tennis shoes. Rest In Peace Sir and thank you for your service.

I was so saddened to hear about the loss of such a great man.
He was one great teacher and coach. I looked forward to hearing him sing Tiny Bubbles when entering his classroom.
He would use his stool as a machine gun while wearing a helmet.
Such fond memories of him.
My thoughts are with his family.
