Corky was extremely eloquent, capable of painting pictures with words as well as brushstrokes and had a genuine love of the arts. She was well traveled in her youth, by virtue of the fact that her father brought each of his children with him on a variety of trips around the world. She continued that passion for travel throughout her life, bringing the breadth of her experiences to her marriage, providing an extremely well rounded foundation for the growth and development of her family. As a close friend remarked upon her passing, “Corky changed our lives”. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice Unit at Middlesex Memorial Hospital, 28 Crescent Street, Middletown, CT., 06457.
