It is with such sadness that I write this as i look upon the face of a man whom I had the honor of being his friend for over 55 years. I met Ed in kindergarten and formed a strong bond as years passed....we grew up together and we grew old together. He was a genuine man who with his laughter could bring a smile to my heart. He had a way of making me feel special , a good listener, and a shoulder to lean on. Over the years we went our separate ways as life happened but all it took was a call and we were where we left off. So many stories and adventures come rushing back as I try to accept his passing. Be proud of the man who you called dad and /or husband. God gave us all a gift in Ed. Treasure it forever. As I am sure your hearts are breaking so is mine.
