It is so difficult to imagine Mom McPherson will not physically be in her beloved home where all were welcome to drop in at any time to visit. And we won't hear her wit, intelligence and honesty which she shared with love. We have had so many good memories over the years and all of us were so fortunate to be connected to the McPherson' family. Both Jack and I lost our parents when we were still raising young children and it was Mom and Dad McPherson who took up the mantle of Surrogate Parents. They loved their family and extended family immensely and welcomed all with open arms.
One of our fondest memories is Mom and Dad McP going into the woods and pulling out baby bushes and a bunch of hostas from their yard and then proceeding to work all afternoon plantingthem at our new house in Centerbrook. Those bushes grow strongly today and the hostas around the rock in our front yard are admired by all who visit or pass by our house.
We know Mom will have a safe journey to spend eternity with Dad, Uncle Freddie, Aunt Lil and her beloved Mom and Dad. Mom, please say hello to Tony, Lena and Eddie for us. We extend our deepest sympathy to Pat, Judy, Patrick, Theresa,Henry, Jack,Matt, Gina and their children, Kelly and her family and Dawn and her children.
Love,
Elaine and Jack

A great loss for all. When Julia would come to my house, it didn’t matter how crazy it was with the children running around or the large dogs. She would say “that’s ok” and then just laugh. She taught me a lot about life, especially how to just “let it roll”. I will miss her soaps, vegetables, and especially her Christmas cookies. A true gem that I’m so honored to of had in my life. Love you Miss Julia
Love Theresa

We will always remember Aunt Julia's Christmas Eve with her homemade sauerbraten, red cabbage and apple tart. Her crocheted dish cloths, quilt's and lavender soap, made lovingly by hand, were always a treasure. Not to mention her garden goodies!! The green beans were delivered by Uncle Fred already "snapped." The laughs we shared and the stories she told, of life on the farm, with "Momma and Freddie" will be remembered for many years to come. RIP Aunt Julia and may peace be with you too Patrick and family. With our love, Kathy and Denny
