Dear Carole, Donna, David, Judy, Sandra and Cindy, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews. It is with such regrets that we cannot attend Walt's funeral service and celebration of his life. Everyone in our family loved Walt for the wonderful person that he was. He was always cheerful and smiling and such a kind man who did love his family dearly. Walt always cared about everyone and would always ask how our family was when we were able to see him. Walt will forever be in heaven with all the angels. When we look up and see a bright shining star, we will think of him. Love and prayers to everyone, Aunt Diane, Uncle Gene, Gene, Jr. Debbie, Matthew, Geno, Sheryl, Bob, Victoria and Brenden.

How can you express a lifetime of memories with a treasured Uncle? He was always sincerely concerned about all of us, wife, children, mother, brother etc. My favorite adult memory was when I hosted (10) Chinese customers and he came to visit us at the hotel in Groton. We even snuck off to play some poker. What an experience! You will always have a place in my heart Uncle Walt!
