Tom, you've been a part of my life for nearly 50 years. I was just a teen-ager when we first met. I'm so glad we've been friends; you've been someone on whom I've gone to for support over the years and you were always there for me. It's very surreal to think that I'll never speak to you again in this world. Every year, you called me on my birthday; I can't tell you how much that meant to me. I know you're in a wonderful place, where you're playing golf, softball and hunting once again. And, you're with your mother and grandmother too! I will never stop loving you for your service to this country and the father you were to Jeff and Steve. They're both going to miss you tremendously. You were a big presence in their lives.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Barbara, whom I know loved Tom with all her heart, along with his beautiful sister Bonnie, his daughter Hilary, our sons, Jeff and Steve, and our grandchildren. You will be sorely missed, my friend! But, I will see you again one day and we'll have a reunion.

Right now, when your loss is so fresh, it may be difficult for you to imagine that this pain will ever go away. But in time the blessing of God's unfailing love will soften the hurt you're feeling and bring your heart the peace, comfort and hope that it needs to heal. How? Revelation 21:4 tells us that soon everything that causes us pain, including death, will be gone forever. We also have the hope of our loved ones being resurrected here on earth, as Acts 24:15 tells us. I do hope you find comfort in this.
Though I did not know your loved one, I am touched by your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences.

To Tommy's children ,sister and grandkids- you all were lucky enough to have been part of a man who had a heart that was far too big for him to hold inside himself. I know that each and everyone of you will carry his legacy forward with kindness, caring, thoughtfulness and love . I know God is welcoming Tommy home and saying well done to such a wonderful man. Love and God Bless you all Debby King PS Pam ,Donnie and Ginny you know that you all along with Laura always held a special lace in Tommy;s heart that could never

Long time good friend. I am so sorry for the health issues you faced in the last years, you faced them with humor and bravery, the way you lived your entire life. I will cherish the great memories of softball games, golf and many trips to Fenway and Yankee Stadium. I loved to call and discuss the Yankees and Sox, I will forever miss those talks. Thank you for introducing me to the love of my life almost 50 years ago.
Condolences to Barbara, Bonnie and your entire family. Friend, you will be truly missed.

Dearest Tommy, what is there left to say? You knew I loved you. You knew I admired you. You knew I looked forward to your texts and your song dedications. Your generosity was limitless. I am so grateful that I was one of your Valley girls.
Twenty some years ago when I through the question out about the whereabouts of my high school boyfriend, you heard it and provided me with the answer. With that, my life was changed and this Dec we will be celebrating 21 years of married life.
Loving you forever dear friend.

I never met you but when I get to heaven you're one of the first ones I want to meet. Bonnie talked about you often, about how close you guys were. I never had a brother but if I did I would want him to be just like you.

Our deepest sympathies to Barbara and the Weaver family. I have many fond memories of spending time with Tom and his son Steve, most notably watching Tom skillfully dress a deer, and asking me to “get rid of the head”. I will always remember how he would beckon me over and whisper “Smitty, have you heard this one....”. Always quick with a joke, and even faster with a smile, he will be missed, but I am so glad to have spent so many years in his company. Our deepest condolences- Brian and Loretta Smith
