Earl was among the last of the originals in Old Saybrook. As a child in the 60’s and 70’s I remember him coming and going from his store front office at the corner of Main and Boston Post. Iconic. As a young adult we often passed at the marina’s. My impression of Earl was a man that embraced life- good and bad- and had no intention of allowing challenges to keep him from a life well lived. I’m so very sorry for his tragedy in the days before he died. Please know your family is on our heart and we pray for Gods comfort in your lives.
My deepest condolences to the family for their loss. May the many good memories you have of Earl bring you comfort. The God of all comfort sees the tears brought on by the death of our loved ones Psalms 56:8. He yearns to bring back those sleeping in death Job 14:14,15 to a time when sickness, suffering and death will be no more. Revelation 21:4.
