Mike and Sharon - sorry to learn of your mom's passage. a sure sign that we are getting older when we lose our folks. I have so many great memories of the fun times I spent in Saybrook in the late '70's. I remember that your folks were always very welcoming. Just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you both at this difficult time. By the way, Wed. April 3rd is the 40th anniversary of the start of our cross country trip. Whenever I would mention that trip my mom would always remark that it was one of the best things I ever did in my life !

We just loved Carmen (and Tom). Next door neighbors for most of Debra's life, Carmen always made sure we had fresh tomatoes in season, a place to swim in their backyard and when in need, she made sure we were always taken care of with enough food to feed an army! She was a wonderful neighbor and friend and we will greatly miss her. She was fortunate to have Mike and Sharon to help her carry on after Tom died. Even though she was sad, she kept on knitting sweaters and booties for Birthright. Carmen did not know how to stand still and just relax. She always had to be doing something for someone else. A true blessing to all who knew her. I was blessed for sure! Rest in Peace dear Carmen and reunite with your adoring husband.

Please accept my condolences for the passing of Carmen. There is hope though, as the Almighty has arranged for the resurrection in the future. He promises, "... There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." (Acts 24:15)
I hope you find these few words comforting and provide motivation to prepare for the new world of God's making. (John 17:3)

Mike, Sharon, Lynnann,
Carmen’s kind, generous spirit will always be with you. Your deep sadness at this time is a reflection of the great love she had for you, and in return you cared for her with such ferocity. We pray your pain gives way to the comfort of knowing that she is at peace now.

Dear Sharon and Mike,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing because she was such a wonderful person. Always thinking of others always giving and giving and helping others. She and your dad made a wonderful loving couple because they were both the same. How lucky you were to have them as parents. They were so good natured and loving people. I will always remember the homemade pasta she used to make for our "Joyful Sound" dinners and the love that went into it. Always smiling and a caring personality. I will miss her dearly but I know now she is with your dad and very very happy.
Love, Joan (Studzinski) Bidwell
