Dear Aunt Valerie, Debbie, Valerie, Wendy, Paul and Phil,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Eddie's passing. Although not actually a blood relative, I respected Uncle Eddie as a family member. Uncle Eddie wore a lot of hats – husband, father, grandfather, carpenter, neighbor, and friend. I saw him as a strong man who loved his family. I truly treasure the memories of the times our families had spent together in Branford and later in life in Vermont. Uncle Eddie was loved and admired by the wide circle of people he touched during his long and productive life. Together, you created a strong family that has touched many more. I'm so glad that mine was one of them. Your husband/father was a remarkable man, and he will be greatly missed. I hope the coming days will give you peace and help you draw strength from the caring hearts around you. Love, Agnes
