Ruthie.... I miss you . You touched so many people’s lives in this small town, your jolly soul could be heard all up and down main st.You had a nickname for everyone in town, you had an amazing heart,smile,and loyalty to many businesses in town .When my kids were younger you would always give them a big mushy kiss, as you did many children..I’ve cleaned your apartment for years, and did your hair too, and I'm blessed to have had you in my life the past 40 yrs...I’ll miss your voice,your laugh,and your hugs. RIP..

My husband, Sirge, and I are so saddened by her recent passing. Ruthie would stop at our shop, Valley Press on Main Street, at least once a day on her way to and from Kirtland Commons. She would visit with us and spend time with our dog before continuing on her way. She called any dog we had at the time," Baby". She would herald Sirge as "Hello Handsome" and me as "Hi Beautiful". I would often see her at Adams and we would pass the time of day there as well. I think everyone, at least on Main Street, knew and had contact with Ruthie - she was a fixture in Deep River. Ruthie was a kind and unassuming soul and I believe one of the last of the real innocents. Deep River's loss is Heaven's gain.We'll miss you, Ruthie. R.I.P.

Ruthie worked at norelco My dad joe cieri. He loved her a great girl. I’m expressing my sympathy to family for my dad & myself his daughter. Pop passed 2 yrs ago. They will meet again.

Condolences to Ruthie's family and friends..I first met Ruthie many years ago, while I was working in a dental office. She always came in so excited, and full of contagious energy and smiles and stories! ( which was refreshing because no one looks forward to the dentist). She always called the doctor, Dr. Handsome! She was a joy. She reminded me, in unspoken words, to keep it simple, find joy in everyday..every moment..thanks for being YOU, Ruthie. Ruthie was the ambassador for Deep River. I think she was the first person to talk to me when I moved there! I was at Adams (or was it Finest). I now live in New York, after 30+ years in Deep River and was so very sorry to hear of her passing. Rest in Peace Ruthie. You will be remembered.
