Mr. Bouchard never failed to come out and greet us when we were working on the tracks near his backyard. He was always very friendly and engaging. We made sure to keep the culvert beneath the track clear, and if we didn't, he sure would remind us!! When the water backed up toward the old dog house that was falling into the creek - it was time to clear the debris from the culvert. Back when he was more active, he never failed to put up his Christmas decorations for the enjoyment of all the kids on our train. I'm going to miss your Dad and all the interactions we had over the past 30 or so years, he was a treasured neighbor and such a very nice man.

Pauline, Norm, Rich, and families- I am so sorry to hear of Normand’s passing. How I enjoyed the countless conversations with dad throughout my years at Saybrook as he would reminisce about Canada, his woodworking, his love for hockey, but most of all... how much his family meant to him. Please accept my condolences with the loss of your beautiful mother, too. I always enjoyed our long conversations, she had such a kind and gentle soul. Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
With Sympathy,
Kim Carta

Every time I see a hockey game I will think of uncle Norman and my dad ( Euclide) talking about what's going on with the Boston Bruins or the Hartford Whaler's. He will be missed.
