Obituary of Jessie Ann Southwick

Jessie Ann Southwick, age 91, died peacefully on January 20, 2015. Ann, as she was called by all her friends was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on February 21st, 1923 to Dorothy Tilton Seacrest and Frederick Snively Seacrest, and was the sister of Mark Tilton Seacrest, all deceased. She is survived by her sister, June Baker, husband, Wayne O. Southwick, and her children, Frederick, Steven and Marcia. Ann was first and foremost a loving and supportive wife and mother, as well as a warm friend to all. At the University of Nebraska she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and majored in psychology and philosophy. She helped to organize the Fellowship Place, a supportive community fostering mental health in New Haven, CT. Ann was an active supporter of the Old Lyme Art Academy, the Connecticut Hospice in Branford, and the Pace Center for Girls in Gainesville, FL.
