Dear Mrs. Buracchi & Family,
American Legion Post 61 members were very saddened to learn about the passing of our comrade, Oscar, a U.S. Navy veteran. It was an honor to have him in our post, having served in both WWII and during the Korea Conflict. His service was recognized with a certificate signed by our Commander-in-Chief President Harry S. Truman . We know that Oscar had been ill for a long time. Virginia's care and devotion gave him comfort. She was selfless. Again, we are very sorry for the loss of Oscar . Our condolences to his family and friends.
Respectfully,
Eileen B. Richard, Commander Post 61
