HI, Brodeur clan. I was so sorry to hear about the passing of dear Mr. Brodeur. Boy, do I have happy memories from junior high/high school of hanging out with your family. Mr. Brodeur was always this sweet, fatherly figure in the background, smiling patiently and overseeing all. I specifically remember a few softball games (in which he played - no sitting on the sidelines for that!) , watching him play tennis at the "Racquie" and the many times Rosemary and I dirtied up the kitchen baking cookies, or most embarrassingly, making up numerous dance routines to Stevie Wonder albums. Mr. (and Mrs.) Brodeur would sit in their living room chairs and patiently watch it all with a smile. Growing up in a divorced family without a dad in the house on a daily basis, I always felt safe and secure at the Brodeurs under the kind and watchful eye of Mr. Brodeur. He was a true role model for many. I know you will miss him terribly. Sending love and hugs to all. xo Kristen Gould Case

Dear Donald, Karen, Stephan and family,
It saddened me to learn of your Father's passing. Reading about his life history and his love for your Mother and family reflects on a life well lived. Through his faith in Christ, my hope is you will draw strength in knowing that the next time you see your Father it will be for eternity.
God's Peace,

I'd like to offer my deepest condolences to Nancy and the whole Brodeur clan. I first met Don Sr. when working for Rod on the design of his "new" office building in Old Saybrook, then on his and Nancy's Ferry Road home on the water in Old Lyme. I remember most of his "children" from then back in the late 80's. What a legacy he has left behind. Warm regards, Denise VonDassel.

Eric, Steph, Marc and family. Robin and I are so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. I have fond memories of playing sports with your dad and you guys at Black Hall and the tennis club, hanging out at the Brodeur household and always being invited to family functions. Your parents always made me feel part of the family. Unfortunately Robin and I will be out of town this weekend (leaving Friday morning for a family gathering in Maine) but we will be with you in spirit. God bless your family, you are extraordinary people.
