I am so sorry for your loss. I joined Our Lady of Sorrows less than two years ago and Irene reached out to me and made me feel so welcomed and introduced me other parishioners and activities I might be interested in. I only knew Irene for a short time but her love for Our Lord and her family was so evident. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, may each memory give you strength..

Dear Joe, Michelle, Lisette, Monique and Family,
I am so sad to hear of Irene's passing. Warm blueberry muffins for breakfast and an incredible sense of humor is my greatest memories of your mom (wife). She treated me like a daughter when we worked together back at Wildwood and I will always treasure her honesty and admire her selflessness. What an incredible person and role model.
Best- Missy

I worked with Irene at Wildwood Medical Center for awhile - she was a wonderful lady. It cracked me up that she said her goal was to become a bagger at Stop and Shop.

My heart is deeply saddened by Irene's passing. I have been singing in the church choir with her for many years and will miss her presence on Saturday evenings. Her deep faith and devotion to God and our church assures me she is now singing with Heaven's choir of angels. My daughters and I will miss her very much.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Joe, her daughters, grandchildren and all of her family.

Dear Heller Family:
It is with a heavy heart that I write this to you. I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Irene since we went to school in Old Saybrook. (K-12). We went through school together and then connected again years later. She shared in our luncheon group that was organized for some of us who desired to get together in later years. Our times out to lunch will not be the same without her. Please know you are in my prayers. May God give you peace at this time of great sorrow.
Sincerely,
Loleeta Manning Fontes
