Dear Sue and family,
I was saddened to hear of John's passing, but I hope his rich and fulfilling life has left you all with memories that console and give you comfort.
John and I were teachers at MMS for many years, and I know he loved his job. He was good at it, and he made school a richer experience for many children.

My condolences to the Granniss family. Mr. Granniss was an incredible teacher & role model, so much so that he's one of the reasons I became a PE teacher myself. I often tell my students how great I had it back in the day playing floor hockey in his class. RIP Mr. G, you will be missed!

I have wonderful memories of Mr. Granniss at the Mansfield Middle School. He was a funny, caring teacher. He introduced most of us to the world of sports beyond the elementary school gym class, and we loved it. We loved him.

John was a kind soul, humble man, deicated to his Family and the Lord. I am grateful to John for sharing the Gospel with me over 30 years ago on the bleachers in the gym where we taught together.
