I know I speak for my fellow Rotary Club members when I say Brent will be greatly missed. Brent was involved in all of the Club's activities sometimes taking charge like our golf tournament or Meals on Wheels. His wit, clever comments and insights were something we all came to expect and appreciate. I had the pleasure of working with Brent through the years on many projects and activities and saw first hand what a great person he was.

To Brent's family:
My heartfelt condolences on the of loss of Brent. I met Brent thrity years ago at a local gym where a small group of insomniacs started their daily routine before the sun rose. For years, we exercised together and he shared stories of his beloved wife, Sandy, their dogs, his children and eventually, grandchildren. He introduced me to his "Little Buddy", Wells, and they both told tales of growing up in "their Deep River". He gave advice, encouragement, and added humor to what otherwise would have been a tedious daily routine. Family was always first in his heart and he spoke lovingly of all of those in his world.
I last spoke with Brent on my birthday, two years ago. He called and reminded me that I was "getting up there" and that he always remembered my birthday because it was the day after his beloved, Stephanie's, special day. Sadly, it was the last time we spoke.
Brent Taylor was a very loyal and special person whose selfless service to our nation and his community touched many lives. If you were Brent's friend, you were his friend for life. May the beautiful memories your family shared with Brent bring you comfort always.
Sincerely.

My Dad was the greatest in my eyes. I’m grateful I was his daughter and have so many wonderful memories. My heart is overflowing with love and light for him as well as all that loved him. I will leave you with one of his poetic phrases.

I'm proud to have been Brent's friend for over 50 years. We talked several times a week over the last couple of years and every once in a while he let me say something !! His jokes, stories, and ancestry history were sometimes repetitive and I would tell him my eyes were glazing over. I'm very sorry for loss Sandy.

I am probably one of the newest members in the past 6 months. In that short time, I did get to spend some time with Brent through various Rotary activities. I can honestly tell you that our club will always bring his name up more often than you think. In fact, if you asked me to explain Rotary - I would simply say Brent.
I am so sorry for your loss. We all feel your sorrow.
