Obituary of Sandra A. Daniels

Sandra A. Daniels, age 81, of Centerbrook passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard “Jake” Daniels who predeceased her in 1989. Sandy was born in New London, Connecticut on May 20, 1940 the daughter of Benjamin and Evelyn (Kinrade) Clark. She resided in Centerbrook over 20 years. She grew up in Old Saybrook. Sandy loved to play setback with the family. She was greatly loved and respected by her many friends and family. Sandy leaves her sisters, Dorothy “Dottie” Cassandra and her husband John of Wethersfield, Kathleen “Kathy” Crofts and her husband Ray of Bradenton, Florida, and her brother, Edward “Ed” Clark and his wife Jill of New York. She also leaves her three granddaughters, Jennifer Daniels, Heather Daniels and Christine Clark, ten great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson. Besides her husband and parents Sandy was predeceased by her beloved sons, Donald Daniels in 1987 and Richard Daniels, Jr. in 2015, two brothers, Benjamin Clark and William Clark. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 10:00am to 10:45am at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook with a graveside service following at 11:00am in the Riverside Cemetery, Sheffield Street in Old Saybrook.
