Obituary of Timothy S. Leach

Timothy S. Leach, 50, of Clinton, CT sadly passed away as he fought a very long and difficult battle with Leukemia (AML) and gained his angel wings on November 26, with family by his side. He was predeceased by his Nannie (Albina), Grampie (Edmond), Uncle (Vic), Godfather (Bruce), Mother-in-law (Jean), Father-in-law (Richard) and 2 beloved “furry kids”, Jagger and Shadow. Tim is survived by his devoted wife, Tara (Hon/My Bride), his 3 children, whom he was very proud of, Zachary Tyler (Scoob), Kiera Marie (Bug/Bunny) and Trevor Matthew (Boo) and his best (fur) buddy, Chase; his mother, RoseMary Krajewski; his father, Steven Leach; step-father, Ronald Krajewski; his sister, Christa (Dan) Barnes; 2 nieces, Riley Olivia & Kennedy Rose; Auntie (Grandsire); cousins Lori and Chuck (Sarah) Grandsire; Godmother Diane; several aunts/uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Besides Tim’s beloved family and many wonderful friends, his passions included riding his Harley (especially “scraping” the floor boards with his mom on the back), watching football and Bruins games with his boys, and a daily goodnight message with his “Daddy’s Girl/Bun.” Tim also enjoyed watching the Giants, Red Sox and of course, NASCAR (especially with his Dad). Tim’s younger years included weekends with extended family, racing, and he always talked about “boning shad” with his Nannie, who he adored and would spend much of his time with. Tim also had a very close connection with his Grampie and had a special momentum/cassette tape that Tim’s oldest son, Zach, made into a CD for Christmas 2020. Tim had cherished that gift! Tim was a licensed electrician for 25 years and most recently was employed at Total Mechanical Systems in Plainville, CT. Tim and his family were extremely grateful with the care and concern that TMS extended to them during this very difficult path. The family would like to extend our sincere gratefulness to the Oncology & Hematology teams at Smilow Cancer Center at Yale. There were so many wonderful doctors, nurses and specialists that took care of Tim and developed a wonderful relationship with him. Tim fought a very courageous battle and his perseverance got him through the last two years. Rest easy, Hon. You are at peace now. Sleep Sleep… A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Robinson, Wright and Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street, Centerbrook, CT 06409. A prayer service will immediately follow the visitation. Arrangements are in the care of the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home.
