I knew my old friend and neighbor Lou Bombaci passed away I had not known his wife Pat had also. Lou and pat were not only my friends but my neighbors for 14 years who lived across the street from me when I lived on Springbrook Rd. in Old Saybrook. I will always be grateful for Lou and Pat as they had always watched out for my three young children and myself after my husband Thomas Papasian passed away. Lou would give us bags of fresh vegetables from his meticulously taken care of gardens ( My son Julian ate all of those cucumbers ) I regretfully had to move away and I sill miss my old home and my old friends and I truly miss how Lou and Pat always made sure to watch out for my family. Many blessings from me to the family and friends of Lou and Pat. Both were not only good people but angels ................
