To the Haut Family- We are so sorry for your loss. Adam walked our dog Poppy and was a wonderful presence in our lives. He had an easy and warm way about him and was always such a gentleman. In my old'sh age, I find that I sometimes forget to turn off the coffee pot when I go to work. Once I realized this after completing my full commute into work and worried that it was a fire hazard. It dawned on me that Adam was coming by shortly to pick up Poppy so I called him to ask f he wouldn't mind also turning off the coffee pot. He laughed and said of course. Since then, this has happened a few times and whenever I would call, he would say "Shall I turn off the coffee pot?" He was a kind soul and he will be missed. Our sincerest condolences. Effie Chan

Dear Haut Family & Loved Ones,
I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Adam's passing. Adam had a great impact on Max when he was just a little boy. He was such a joyful and peaceful person. He set a standard for what is meant by the words "a life fully lived". He was always inspirational, and I thought of him often although I only knew him through my interactions with Matt and your family. My heart and prayers are with you.

This spirit knew no enemies. An inspiration to us all to try to live life on our terms, answering only to our own imagination. I will always think of him now when I see a dog lick someones face, a bird soar across the sun and mushroom's first break the surface of the soil. I find solace knowing he has left us to travel time and other dimensions.

T1979: Tim had just married Jon and I in Fairfield, CT. We were delighted 'babysitting' little Matthew,5ish and Adam, about 3 or 4. We took them to the Disney classic, '101 Dalmations' at the old theatre in downtown Stamford.
Alas, Jon and I had no experience with little boys and movie theater seats. When little Adam's legs shot straight up, landing near his ears, we realized we had to hold the seat down to keep the poor boy from contorting! Matt may remember this.
Armed with Reese's peanut butter cups and popcorn, the movie began. Adam so lovingly shared his corn, one kernel at a time. What on earth...peanut butter popcorn? Adam whispered, "I tasted it a little first." I got the giggles and chuckle to this day at the memory of that compassionate little man willing to share, after he gooed his treat up a bit.
Such a joyful child who grew into a joyful man! May the best of what he gave each of us live on!

Tim, Phyllis, Marilyn, Matthew, Justin, Martin, and Erin - my heart aches for you over the loss of Adam. I knew him best when he was little, when I babysat for the boys . Even at a very young age, I could see how sensitive and caring he was. I got to see him only periodically as an adult, but whenever I did, that same sensitive, caring boy was still smiling through. I pray that the sweet memories of Adam give you peace and comfort through this terribly difficult time.

So many are talking about how kind and happy he was but he could also dish out brilliant frankness without diminishing any of it. I'm overseas for work so sadly I have to miss the services. My condolences to all of Adam's family and friends.
I only interacted with Adam a couple of times but know that he was a very special person in my daughter's life. Adam, you were most definitely an angel and I am so grateful you were part of my daughter's life.
I can't take credit for the following words but to me they describe all I know about Adam:
I believe that Spirit assigned many angels to lead humans into their highest potential. Some of these angels, to fulfill their specific assignments, needed to be born into human form. In the process of being born, these angels forgot their angelic origin, however, they kept their angelic temperament.
Angels-incarnate in human form have certain recognizable characteristics. From a very early age, they tend to feel different from other people, without understanding why. Since they understand Spirit as unconditional love and acceptance, they demonstrate their angelic temperament by being loving and kind in their day to day life. It is natural for them to desire the best for all concerned, so they cannot hold a grudge for long. If provoked for long enough, they may get angry and choose to remove certain people from their lives, but they almost never seek revenge. Revenge is not a part of their angelic temperament.
Of course these Angels-incarnate have a strong sense of purpose. This is because they came to earth for a very specific purpose, to bring light and love into the world. Even when they have no direct memory of their eons as an angel with Spirit, they tend to create an incredible amount of healing and positive energy.
I am so grateful for the angel that was Adam. The healing, positive energy and kindness he brought to the world will never leave us.
