Obituary of Adam Christopher Haut

Adam Christopher Haut left this world dancing. He died while attending a concert on Friday night, filling his last hours with as much joy and passion as he did the rest of his life. He was born on May 2, 1976 and spent all of his days exploring the wonders of the world and scattering love like seeds. He was a gentle, kind, and joyous man, just as he was as a child. He was a professional dog -walker in Boston, and on his long ventures on the end of a leash he took photographs of hawks and warblers, recording the bright leaves of autumn or the breathtaking snows of winter, seeing what others would miss as they passed by. He was a talented artist, played the fiddle in a bluegrass band, sang his heart out, and played "Silent Night" on the saw in church on Christmas Eve. He watched wrestling with a passion and savored the universe of comic books and science fiction. He could make home-made pie crusts and onion soup, sew a kilt to wear at a friend's wedding, or host a glorious Thanksgiving feast. He equally enjoyed just sitting by the fire and talking about the great questions of the universe. Adam often said, "I love my life!" His parents are Rev. Timothy and Phyllis Haut of Deep River, CT, and Marilyn Haut, of Clinton. He loved his brothers, Matthew Haut of Deep River, Justin Haut of Los Angeles, and Martin Haut, of Higganum. His beloved person and friend was Erin Scott of Brighton, MA. He also leaves his nieces Ariana and Lily Haut, and countless aunts and uncles, cousins and friends, who laugh and cry and see the world more fully and truly because Adam was in it.
