Obituary of France F. Brown

France F. Brown, Jr. age 54 passed away on Saturday, August 29,2015 at the Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. France was born in Middletown on April 11, 1961 the son of June (Hurley) Brown of Westbrook and the late France F. Brown, Sr. who predeceased him on December 26, 2007. He was raised in Westbrook and was a heavy equipment operator for over 25 years for the Department of Transportation, State of Connecticut and later for Calamari and Haynes. France was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Besides his beloved mother June, he leaves his children, Ashley Brown of Parker, Colorado, Brandon Brown, of Chester and Rachel Brown of Keene, New Hampshire, his sisters, Bonnie Case, of Canton Center and Cheryl Brown of Westbrook and his best friends, Paul and Julie Dockter, of Chester. He will be missed by his beloved cats, Marshmallow and Snowball. Visitation will be held at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11:00AM at the Resurrection Cemetery, Route 145 in Westbrook.
