Obituary of Sandra Johnson Szymanski

Sandra Johnson Szymanski, age 88, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving sons at her home in Ivoryton, early Tuesday morning, February 2, 2016. Sandra was the daughter of Axel R. Johnson and Mabel Burdick Johnson, and the wife of the late Edward T. Szymanski. Sandra was predeceased by her brothers; Murwin Johnson and Hanford Johnson, both of Ivoryton. She is survived by her two sons; Scott, and his wife Beth (Whitty) of Danbury, and Craig, and his wife Beth (Jameson) of Ivoryton, as well as several nieces and nephews. Sandra is also survived by her three beloved grandchildren; Eric, Erin and Nathan. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 4:00PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinson, Wright and Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street, Centerbrook.
