I am sorry to learn belatedly of Lynn's passing. It has been 57 years since I saw her last, but her warm smile in the photo here is instantly recognizable. She was a kind and gentle person, and a good friend from long ago. My condolences to her family.

Linnea was the best of us here in East Hampton. My two children were blessed to both have her as a first grade teacher. She had this unique ability to give every child exactly what they needed. My children loved her and My 16 year old son still occasionally reads Heggity Peg, a book she introduced him to and he took out of the Memorial School library every week until we bought him his own copy. She was loved, she was appreciated and she will be missed by all that knew her. Sincerely, The Pellegrino Family

Mrs. Sikora was my son's first grade teacher at Memorial School. I knew from the moment I first met her that she had such a tremendous love for teaching all the children that passed through her classroom. My son, Curtis, has never forgotten her. She made such a wonderful, lasting impression on him. As Curtis grew up and the years passed, she never failed to stop and ask me when I saw her how he was doing. How blessed we all are to have known her. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was such a warm, caring lady. I am sure she is a guardian angel in heaven watching over all those that she loved. Our deepest condolences to her family.
