It was an honor and a privilege for me to get to know Joan North when I started bringing her Holy Communion once a week. First when she was at home, and then when she went to Apple Rehab. We both had a great deal in common. Joan and I would chat for about an hour before I gave her Communion. I always enjoyed my visits with her, and I shall miss her, because we became friends. Thankfully, she is now at peace with our Dear Lord, and she is no longer suffering. She most certainly touched my life, and I shall never forget her.
