George was a terrific friend and neighbor. I greatly enjoyed our time together, sitting in his beautiful backyard, reminiscing about the good old days. He was a man's man, with deep faith and great devotion to his family. I will miss him.
I extend my sincere condolences to Marion and all his children and grandchildren. Gil

We met George and Marion at Brewers Deep River Marina, where for many years we enjoyed their warm, friendly, easygoing companionship.
George was a kind, generous, devoted, loving husband and family man; smart, with a great sense of humor and easy laugh; who also told wonderfully entertaining stories.
We have fond memories of those halcyon summers and feel privileged to have known George and Marion. May their family cherish and find consolation in their lives well-lived in love. Sincere condolences from Bill and Diana.

When I told my two sons, Dylan and Dean about George passing, they both said, "he was so funny," and that made me smile.

My Uncle...the protector, loved to laugh, loved my Mom, gruff and cuddly all at the same time..He was and always will be larger than life. A life well lived-loved all of his family and friends and always had time for everyone. I love him and will miss knowing he is on this planet...till we meet again Uncle George.
