My dear sweet pop
I have so many wonderful memories with my grandfather that all i can do is be grateful as i mourn. So i Thank you pops for all the wonderful days you have given me as a child, adult and as a dear friend. You spoiled me not with not only "things" and taking me here and there, but with your time and attention. My grandfather taught me the true meaning of simplicity ~ all you really need in life is LOVE. Your joy came from making sure us kids were good and happy and in those times when we worried, angry or sad i can remember you doing what ever it took protect us, guide us or make us laugh so we would feel better. Grandpa Ray you will be missed dearly. I will never forget how caring, loving, outgoing, serving and how comical pops was. I think we all will agree that he was a wonderful man with his very own personality that you couldn't even come close to comparing him to anybody else. I still remain broken hearted and will never get used to being without you pops because you were such a bright light in this dark dark world. In one way I can say I am at peace, it's that you are re-united with your wife that is your one and only true love and my beautiful grammy. I am on earth and you both now remain in the beautiful heavens Jesus where there is no more sorrows and no more pain. My two beautiful angels, until we meet again.....
