I offer my condolences to Arlene's family and friends. I just received an email notice today 9-28-10.
We shared the same classes at VRHS . She and I were quiet. I remember her drawing horses in Miss Moylands Art Class. She always seemed bright and awake in character. I didn't know her well but noticed that she was always dressed nicely and appeared upright. I think she must have been filled with joy but showed it perhaps through her music. We artists are like that in a special way. I'll pray for her so she gets to heaven. God bless you all.

My wife and I remember Larry, Arline, and the boys with much affection. Larry was my best friend in Laramie. He and I both taught in the University of Wyoming History Department, and I was a frequent guest in their home. We have made a contribution in Arline's memory to the Hospice of Laramie. Thinking of you.

Our sincere condolences to all of Arline's family: I was not real close to Arline in our class at VRHS, but I do remember her to be a real nice person with a quick smile and soft voice. In later years I got to know her better through our mini reunions (luncheons). It's hard to believe that we just had a mini the sat. before her passing and I got to talk to her about our diff. cancer's and treatments, etc. She will be missed ! RIP Arline , Sam and Sara Sampson

Robin and family. I am saddened by the news of Arline's passing. I wish I could have been at the mini reunion to see her. She was always a smiling, happy person and nice to everyone. Always enjoyed singing with her in chorus. My thoughts are with you all. Kathleen (Tina) Rolf Rathbun

Rest in peace Nonnie, my dear special cousin. I will always have fond memories of the fun we had growing up (our family gatherings)and when either myself and family would visit you and your family in Wyoming or you and your family would visit us in Arizona. We had such great times together. You will be greatly missed.
Love You

I remember spending many hours on the phone with Arline when we were quarantined because one in our close knit group contracted polio. There was nothing that we DID NOT talk about. She was a good friend.

Please accept my sympathy and consolation. Arlene was a good person whom I'm sure made it to Heaven. I will include her in my prayers for God's parental protection and love. Surely He has prepared a Heavenly welcome for her and made a place where she will be happier than ever before. Please do look forward to seeing her again at the end of this short life on earth.

My first memory of Arline was in Ms Moylan's Art Class at VRHS. She dad drawn a picture of a horse. Later I found out that she had a great love for horses. The relationship was foreign to me until I was introduced to Patty Stalsburg's tall horse in Deep River. As I approached it's coral, it shot me a bolt of love from it's heart that stunned me. I never knew such a thing could occur. Therefore, I would say that Arlene was loved by more than many people... including the four legged kind!
