Obituary of Peter Bradley Vincent
Peter Bradley Vincent, 77, of Westbrook passed away Friday, November 18, 2016, at Yale-New Haven Hospital due to heart complications. To all who knew and loved him he was "Pete" or "Chief," a devoted and loving husband for 39 years to Margaret Rausch Vincent and father to Christopher Vincent (Tovah) of Westbrook, Matthew Vincent of Westbrook, David Vincent (Tatiana) of Newport Beach, California, and Sarah Vincent of Charleston, South Carolina. He is preceded by his parents, George and Esther Vincent, his sister Ann Lee (Wally) and his nephew Steven Lee. Born in New Haven on July 9, 1939, Peter grew up in Meriden and attended University of Bridgeport before moving to the shoreline where he raised his family. For over 60 years, until the time of his death, he was self-employed in downtown New Haven. Peter loved baseball, college basketball and was a life-long Boston Red Sox fan. Above all, Peter enjoyed helping and spending time with his children, grandchildren and even the family pets. In addition to his wife and children, Peter is survived by his sister Abigail Pichnarcik (George) of Pawley's Island, South Carolina, his grandchildren Grace, Ryan and Peter Vincent, and his nieces and nephews William "Chip" Lee, Cathy Lee, Nancy Gonzalez, and Peter Lee. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook. A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of the Walnut Grove Cemetery, 817 Old Colony Road in Meriden. Burial will follow in the family lot in the cemetery.
