Oh Ashley, I am so sad that the world has lost you and your vibrant spirit. I remember being enamored by you even when we were just a couple of teenagers - it was a joy to be in your presence. I can clearly see the sparkle in your eyes... We crossed paths just briefly in the last handful of years and on those occasions, you still brightened my day. To Ashley's family, I send you big hugs and strength to keep smiling for her. - The Roberts

There are no words that can take the pain away. I am so deeply sorry for your loss, Annie, Joanne, Anne, , Jim, James, and everyone who knew Ashley, because to know her was to love her. She was one of very few people who didn't know any other way than to be herself. Your absence leaves a hole in our hearts that will never be replaced by anyone or anything. Thank you for the years that you were here, and for the gift of your love. I hope to see you again one day and until then I will picture you in a field with flowers in your hair with your big, beautiful smiling face in the sunshine. Rest in peace sweet Asheybug.

I just wanted to send my deepest condolences. I knew Ashley from Mercy High School and was so saddened to hear of her passing. I cannot pretend to know what the loss of a child is like. I only know I lost my brother and watched my parents' suffering. Your pain must be monumental. I wish you peace and comfort at this most difficult time. You remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Annie,
Babs just told me of Ashley's death. There are no words that can console a person on the death of a child. It's every parent's worst nightmare and could happen to any one of us at any time.
Babs told me what a great person Ashley was--how she would give the shirt off her back to a homeless person or anyone in need. I know you will find a way to extend the work she did and that you did with her Annie.
It doesn't seem fair or understandable even that you and your family has had so much pain over the years and now this.
Just know that people are thinking of you and are sending you strength and love and good will even though we aren't together. I hope the strong family bonds that you have with Joanne and your mom will pull you through and that someday the light and sparkle can reappear in your eyes. My heart goes out to you.
Love, Sharon

Ashley & I were cousin's. From her father's side, my Uncle Mike. I remember when she would come to our Grandma's house in Stonington, CT... We would walk around the neiborhood just talking. I can remember Looking up to her. She was always so full of life & vibrant!! And of course GORGEOUS!!! Remember when my Uncle Mike, her Dad took us to this huge water park, only one I've ever been to. We stuck together, walking around and I remember everyone, strangers We'd pass would take a glance at her because she was so beautiful & vibrant. I would be proud and think "yup that's my cousin". Lol It makes me sad that the world has lost such a amazing soul too young. I give my condolences to her Parent's. And to all the rest of her family & friends!! One thing I'm sure of is.. our Grandma & Grandpa & my brother, Ryan who had also passed at 15 years old, also wayy too young!! I know they were their to comfort her & I hope she is at peace. Although her loss will cripple many for a long time. I hope everyone remembers her vibrancy & her amazing personally and beauty. RIP Ashely. We love you!!!!
