Obituary of Ashley Marie Stebbins

Ashley Marie Stebbins, 32 , of Essex, CT passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2016. She was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She attended Mercy High School for three years and then graduate from Westbrook High School. Ashley was a member of the National Honor Society. She went on to undergraduate studies at UCONN where she majored in theater, which came as no surprise, as Ashley loved to sing and preform from a very young age. Family was most important to her, she loved them with all of her heart and worshipped the time they all spent together .Ashley had a great appreciation for nature and the environment, her greatest peace came from being outdoors. She loved to travel and had many adventures which she shared with her family. She brought so much joy to all she knew and showed great kindness and compassion to everyone, even strangers she met along her journeys. Ashley had the biggest heart, she was so loving, kind and giving. She had a gentle soul and a free spirit. Her Catholic faith was her foundation. She was raised by her mother Anne Marie, which made her a very strong and independent young woman. Ashley is survived by her mother Anne Marie Stebbins of Essex, her aunt Joanne Noble of Westbrook, her uncle James Noble of Clinton and a niece Emily Noble, as well as her maternal grandparents Anne Noble of St. Augustine, FL and James Noble of Essex. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30th from 5-7pm at Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St. Centerbrook. Funeral Mass will follow on Thursday, December 1st at St. Mark;s Church. McVeigh Rd., Westbrook at 11am. Interment will be private at Resurrection Cemetery, Westbrook.
