Marsha, Vera and family,
My heart goes out to you all at this most difficult time. I hold so many fond memories of Frieda. I am pretty sure it was 30 years that I did Frieda's hair, I always told her we made her beautiful. Freida was beautiful inside and out. We shared a special friendship over the years. I felt I knew all of you through her eyes. She was so very proud of her family. She was so thankful for her wonderful daughters and adored her grandchildren and the great great children. She told me some of the most amazing stories about coming to this country and the sadness of leaving her family behind. She had some very funny stories but she was made of tough stock. She never gave up and was always so thoughtful and generous. I will hold a special place in my heart for Frieda and will always remember her as a very special friend. I know she is with her Karel now and that is what she always wanted. I will smile when ever I think of her. You had a wonderful Mom, I am thankful you shared her with me.
