John was just not a boss, he was a friend, best friend, my mentor, my guardian, guidance, brother and a father figure I looked up to. He touched my life in many ways that I cannot imagine without having his presence around me and my family. He was Uncle Johnny to my children, his children are my brother and sisters. He was a family oriented man. All he wanted was the best for his family and for everyone he knew. He made sure he provided for his children and family and he would strive to do it and when he felt like he hadn't succeeded he felt he had to push harder. Everything he has done was for his children, his mother and his employees whom he never treated as his employees he treated us his family. The love and support he gave to the community is just unconditional. He had made such huge impact in the community with all of his unending, endless unconditional donations and charities. He is more rhan appreciated, well known, and respected for his generousity. He has a big heart, a heart of gold and a good soul. I will miss the non ending family conversations, the joyous laughter from our
Jokes and most of all I will miss my brother/dad who was always there for me when I needed a shoulder to cry on, tell my secrets, my vent machine because I always vented to him and would listen never once interrupted he would listen until I was done and would always give
Me the biggest hugs and advice that I needed. He loved my children my husband and I. I will miss the weekly phone calls just to say hi and laughters on the phone as we conversed and watched ou favorite tv show at the same time making fun of it anxiously waiting for the next episode to come next week so we can laugh about it on the phone. I will miss you're gentle kisses on my cheeks when you say good night after work with you're warm big hugs. You may not be here physically but you're memories will
Always be with us and you will never be forgotten. You're a great father and you're children are so proud of you. ❤

I want to send my condolences to John's family and his extended DRP family. This is a such a loss of a beautiful man. My son and I met John when we moved to Deep River in 1998 and his awesome food helped us get through our move. And for the next almost 20 years DRP was our goto for take out, as was seeing John's smile when you walked in the door. May the warmth of his memories give you peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

We've known John since he opened his Deep River Pizza business. We were his printers and later became friends. We lovingly called him "Mr. Pizza, Pizza" whenever he ordered from us or we ordered from him. As an Auxiliarist, I would always go to John for a Poppy donation and he never disappointed, always giving one of the largest donations I collected. We often saw John on the street in Deep River or at one of the stores in town and our conversations especially about family, would last a very long time! John was a kind and generous man, soft spoken, hard working and kind hearted. We will miss him very much. Why is it that the good always die young...?
