Obituary of Susan Ellen Greenberg

Susan Ellen Greenberg, 55, beloved mother of Sydney and Rylan, passed away at Hartford Hospital on June 25th from medical complications while battling breast cancer. She was born in Castro Valley, CA and grew up in Manchester, CT where she graduated from Manchester High School. She later moved to Brooklyn, N.Y. to attend college, then to Manhattan, and presently resided in Rocky Hill, CT. She received a degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honors in Communication Design from Pratt Institute. After that, she started her award-winning graphics design company, Design Farm. In addition to her daughters, she is survived by her parents Paul and Phyllis Greenberg of Essex, CT, her brother Jeffrey and his wife Brooke and their daughters, Lily and Lucy, all of N.Y.C., and her brother Joshua and his wife Kashya and their daughter, Kelsey, of San Francisco, CA. A private memorial service will be held by the family. To honor her love of animals, donations may be made in her memory to the Connecticut Humane Society, or to the Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center.
