Obituary of Abraham Alphonse Soudan
Abraham Alphonse Soudan was born January 17, 1981 in Savannah, Georgia. He died suddenly Friday, August 18th in Meriden, CT. He is survived by his
maternal grandmother, Polly Lynch, his mother Daya Soudan (and Terry Anderson), his father Ken Soudan (and wife Debbie), his sister Star Rueckert (and husband Chris and children Avery and Spencer), his sister Vanessa Soudan (and Ezequiel Galan), two stepsisters, Sarah Grandsire (and husband Chuck and children Cole andDylan), Logan Carducci (and husband Anthony), stepbrother Scott Huna (and Britt Wik-Crosby). Abe is also survived by his aunt and uncle Polly and Peter Zarella,his uncle David Williams, his uncle and aunt Bob and Connie Soudan, his uncle and aunt Al and Gail Soudan, and his aunt Carol Soudan and many cousins and friends, as well as his beloved dog, Brodie. Abe loved nature, the sea and boats. He worked as a landscaper and a professional fisherman. All who knew him recognized his kind heart and gentle laugh. He helped create the Peace Barn Sanctuary in Deep River where he grew up and lived for over three decades. He will be greatly missed, as he was a beautiful soul loved by all. Donations to a scholarship in his name may be sent to High Watch Recovery Center, 62 Carter Road, Warren, CT 06754. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday August 27th at the Deep River Congregational Church, 1 Church Street, in Deep River. A reception will follow.
