To Madaline and family, our warmest thoughts to you. My wife and I have wonderful memories of Jack taking excellent care of our trawler, Provo. He kept us safe and out of trouble for many years. Jack was a talented, warm, sincere gentleman who will be greatly missed.

To Jack's family - I was saddened to read about Jacki's passing. As kids we played cars and trucks in his family's garage. I was his neighbor on Longview Road many years ago. We would also ride our bikes together and climb trees. (I was quite the tomboy) He's in Heaven now along with Fred and his parents. I would like to think he's doing the things we did as kids. I am so sorry for his passing. Sincerely, Susan Duprey Marcotte

With very sincere sympathy to Madaline especially, and to all Mr. Meyer's family and friends. I never met Mr. Meyer but his obituary tells the story of a well lived life. Madaline, you did so much to make his life comfortable. You cared for him with loyalty, devotion, and love. May he now rest in eternal peace, and may each of you be comforted by the lifetime of memories you shared. Your faith gives you the hope and knowledge that earthly passing is not the end, but rather just a transition, and that you will be together again one day. Until that time, may each of you find peace and grace and know that the love and friendship of many is offered to you in your time of loss and sorrow. With sympathy from all your friends and colleagues in the Connecticut Tax Collectors' Association.

Smiling as I recall how everyone laughed at my learning to fire a pistol in your woods. My first and only attempt to be sure. Jack's infectious smile and laugh always made me feel welcome to venture to Chester with Fred. I know the hurt you are each feeling but I also know Jack is now without pain or discomfort and this must bring us all some peace. Love to all, Ro.
