What a shock -we worked together on a couple of real estate deals 20 years ago- I got to meet Betsy and the sons and Wayne's mother. Terrific real people. I had gone to a Town office and asked who was the best commercial broker in town -they told me Wayne D'Amico- he was exactly that. although we haven't worked together for years I will never forget him-his optimism was contagious

I worked with Wayne on numerous projects throughout Central Connecticut over the years. As many times in commercial real estate, they did not work out, but even when they did not, Wayne always kept a smile on his face and a spring in his step. The world now has one less BIG smile and jokester... We are all saddened by his loss and will have you and your family in our prayers.

Betsy and Boys, Armand, Judith- I am sorry for your loss. I am still processing this! But what I remember is a good personal friend and respected business associate. I will miss our debates and philosophical bantering about business issues or CCIM issues. I will remember the good times! I will use his strength and intellect to make each day better. I will miss my friend Wayne! He will always be in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about Wayne's passing. We were friends and fraternity brothers in the mid 80's at NYU. Wayne contacted me last summer and wanted to have lunch, but I was tied up, and then I was free and he had obligations. I wish so much now that I would have dropped whatever I thought was so important and went to meet him. I feel badly I didn't know he was so sick. Wayne was a very special man, even back when we were all really just kids. Great with numbers, great with business, and just an all around good guy. I send my sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family, and am very priveledged to have been able to call Wayne, friend. God Bless RIP Wayne.

Cherish the times in life when you meet someone who truly is passionate, honest and sincere. These words encompass Wayne, who I met years ago at a CCIM Institute event. Was proud to have worked with Wayne over the years, and proud to have shared a stage a few times. But I'm mostly proud to have known Wayne and to have called him my friend.

Beloved is certainly accurate! I have so many fond memories of spending time at Wayne's home when we were teens. Even as an extremely successful adult, he still held on to that childhood joy. I'll never look at a Mickey Mouse phone without thinking of you, Wayne! My heart aches for his family. I hope all the love that Wayne gave to others, comes back to surround and comfort you. He'll be deeply missed.

Betsy, James, Max, Love to you during this time. Wayne was my best friend during our teen and college years. My heart goes out to you, Mr. and Mrs. D'Amico, Ron and all your family, friends and colleagues. Wayne came into my life during the time he was meant to...I will cherish my memories of times spent together. Most of all the unconditional friendship he showed me, when HS was typically not so caring. He is a class act, a true gentleman, and always the Divine Soul he is and always will be. See you on the Other Side, my friend. I love you.
