I was saddened to hear of the passing of my classmate and friend, Jeff. One of my memories was a night when Jeff was due to board ship at the New London Pier and he was late, so I offered to drive him in my Ford Falcon convertible along with a couple of other friends. We raced like never before along the back roads of Killingworth heading towards the turnpike, laughing with excitement and saying our farewells. We, of course, made it safely to our destination. Jeff was a sweetheart and a gentleman. Our lives took different paths so we weren't in touch, but he is one person from high school that I will always remember with fondness and never forget him! Love and healing to all.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. I remember him well as an active member of the VFW when, years ago, my dad was a member, too. Almost a decade older than me, I never knew Jeff well, but remember he always had a smile and a kind word for me. It's been some years since I saw him, but I remember him fondly.

I first met Jeff when I moved to Killingworth, I was 12 and he was 13. His sister Linda was the first person that invited me to her house and we became best friends. I spent a lot of time at their home when we were kids. The memory that comes to mind when I think of Jeff is when he would stand in their living room looking into the mirror. With his guitar around his neck, combing his hair and singing an Elvis song. He would ask "Don't I look just like Elvis?" and we would laugh. I just talked to Jeff and Johnny a couple of weeks ago. I guess he is one of those people you think will always be around. Craig, Karen and John, you are in my prayers. Love Liz

What moves through us is a silence,a quiet sadness.a longing for one more day,one more word, one more hug.we may not understand why "Jeff" left this Earth so soon, or why he left so soon,or why he left before you all were ready to say goodbye, little by little you begin to remember not just that he passed, but that he lived, and that his life gave us all memories too beautiful to forget. Our thoughts and prayers are for his entire family and friends
