Dang!
Ted was smart as a whip in grad school and I always enjoyed his rather dry humor.
I was shocked and saddened by his passing.
God's blessings and condolences to his family and lovely Laurie.

Dearest Laurie, Hugh and Peter
We are off the mainland for 2 months and just received the news of Ted's passing. What a wonderful man, loving father, devoted husband gracious host. He had a terrific sense of humor and a delightful twinkle in his eyes. The God of all peace has restored Ted in His loving presence ...may this be your comfort. May the love and good memories of family and friends surround you. We wish we could be with you to give big higs to you and High and Peter. Love, Rhode, Rick and Sky Weiner

Ted and I were classmates in South Carolina. We had internships in Germany and lived in nearby cities so often spent time together. I recall him as soft-spoken and kind, inquisitive and thoughtful. It was a great privilege to have known Ted. I understand from hearing about the past years that he was one of those rare, personally and spiritually compassionate people who make the lives of those around them rich and full and memorable.
God takes care of his children. When I think of Ted now, I can see him high on an alpine summit, skis on, ready to head down the slope below. The sun is warm on his face, and the wind is blowing in his hair. He's smiling, because he knows he's not gone, he just got there before us. God bless you Ted, you are at peace.

I am so very sorry to hear. Ted and I were not close but thanks to Facebook we got to connect after years. I shared a lot of laughs with Ted, his brother Tim and is mom and dad at their home in Hingham. While he is way too young I am happy to see he has such a loving family. When all is said and done that is what matters most. Please know this old acquaintance is deeply sorry for your loss and I will always see the smiling young guy stepping out his parents backdoor.
