I knew Sam for only a short time, but he was able to make an impression for even that limited span. He always brought a smile to those he had contact with and his big heart was always plainly obvious to see. I used to love when he called me over to simply shake my hand or give a huge hug. Those simple gestures conveyed more than words ever could. Sam will be missed.

Very sorry for your loss, I had the privilege of meeting sam through my mom she's worked with him at one point and he came for a ride with her to my house and he insisted on weeding my garden, he was there for about an hour just weeding away, no one could stop him he then informed me about every plant flower and weed I had in my garden, I will never forget his information he left me and the kindness he showed at all times, I'm very sorry for your loss and hopefully he's weeding away in heaven

My family owned Pat's kountry kitchen and Sam worked for us for many years. He was the bright spot of many of my days. I have many fond memories of his beautiful smile and sweet disposition. He always loved his food and I knew he loved me when he said, I brought you something and pulled an unwrapped cookie, lint and all from his pocket for me! He was a gem!

Sam is missed. He was always the best tour guide at Smith Farm. He loved to share his work place with everyone who stopped at the farm. I always think of him when I see the moon, night or day. "I see the moon and the moon sees me."

I am sorry for your loss. Sam was on my Special Olympics volleyball team. He was so much fun and will be missed by many athletes. I will always remember that mischievous twinkle in his eyes and his beautiful smile, he and Eric acting like their favorite wrestlers and he and Melinda dancing.
