Many memories come to mind every time I thought of Darlene over the past years. We met, as did so many kids, while living in the returning Vet's housing on Essex St, Deep River. We became good friends all through school and after as adults. A wonderful friend. Ronnie Gliden, and Darlene lived in adjacent buildings and Ronnie's mom would always tell Darlene to leave her boy alone. Ronnie was the instigator unbeknownst to his mom. Those were the carefree days we shared. My deepest sympathy to all her family and many friends.
