Dear Family,
I am so sorry for your loss of such a great sweet lady. I knew Pat from our special education meetings and through other school district events. I am special education teacher at Deep River Elementary. From the brief encounters that I had with Pat, I could tell that she was a special person and loved working with the children. Again, I am so sorry to hear about her passing. She will be missed by many.

Frank, When I think of Patty I see her eyes twinkle as I am greeted by a warm genuine smile. To be loved by such a precious soul is a wonderful gift. I have no words that can change what is. But I do know that love never dies. My thoughts and my prayers are with you and your family.

I still remember when I first started at Essex Elementary - my second week there was 9/11...Pat was one of the warmest, most empathetic people in the school. She had a quiet, gentle manner but passion and intensity for caring for students and colleagues. She will be missed by many friends no matter how long, or briefly, they knew her.

Dear Frank and children:
Lou and just arrived in NC when we heard about the passing of Patty. How very lucky I was to have seen her and spoken with you last week. After hearing of all the suffering Pat experienced over the past few months, we all now she is finally at peace and pain free. Knowing Patty she is already organizing something of some very special flavor.
You have been a wonderful family to her and have such beautiful memories.
Please know that Lou and I send our love, and are so sorry we cannot be in CT for the services.
You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
In prayers

I rejoice that our paths on the journey of life crossed. Pat was an inspiration on how to live and I feel blessed to have known her. So many starfish are thriving in the sea because of Pat. My thoughts are with all of you as we celebrate her life.
