Your mother's passing is a loss to us all. She was not only a kind, gentle person, but also an exemplary public servant, leaving her indelible mark on every post she held, whether appointed or elected. I had the good fortune to serve with her on the Democratic Town Committee for many years, and ran for elective office in Deep River on the same ticket a few times. Her presence on the ticket made it much easier for guys like me to get elected. Her way with people combined with recognized skill and diligence made her a great vote-getter. I know you will miss her presence, but so will all of her friends and neighbors in Deep River. ART
